Seat Belt

Obstruction Sensors

Pressure-sensitive sensors on the footrest and carriage detect if the stairlift's path is blocked. If the sensor detects an obstruction — a child, a pet, or an object on the stairs — the stairlift stops immediately. This is a critical safety feature that should be tested regularly.

Soft-Start and Soft-Stop
